About Us/Contact

The Lake County Folk Festival is hosted by Public Arts & Music a 501(c3).

Festival History

In 1997,Jeff Friberg and friends produced Lake County’s 1st Annual Folk Festival among the hay bales at Uncle Donald’s Farm in Lady Lake. In 2001, this growing family of friends, with the cooperation of the City of Eustis, moved the 4th Annual Lake County Folk Festival to the beautiful, historic downtown on Lake Eustis. The family of friends is now Public Arts and Music Inc. and the 20th year celebrates with 9 venues and is still FREE.

Free to the public, and voted in the top 5 of Florida’s folk festivals with a "Who’s Who" in Florida acoustic music, the 20th Annual Folk Festival is a non-profit, sponsored festival. We encourage any support in time, money, or in-kind contributions. Mark your annual calendar for the second weekend in October!
